From Thursday’s edition of the Globe:
“ ‘This is a military occupation’: Minn. leader rebukes ICE” (Page A2).
“Supreme Court says lawmaker may challenge mail-in voting” (Page A5).
“Data show little illegal voting by migrants” (Page A5).
I share the concern of many that the Trump administration will find some excuse to cancel the midterms in order to maintain its control over Congress. But the administration may not need to cancel elections if it can find ways to suppress mail-in voting and provoke sufficient fear among citizens in the communities it attacks to keep many from showing up on Election Day.
