Saks Global has filed for bankruptcy, in an effort to restructure its debt and stabilize the business after mounting losses. Mortimer Singer, managing partner at Traub Capital Partners, believes Saks still has valuable assets, including a loyal high-net-worth customer base, strong flagship New York stores and the e-commerce business.
