Crash involving two tractor trailers on Mass. Turnpike in Weston caused traffic delays, officials say.

A tractor trailer slammed into another tractor trailer that had crashed and jackknifed on the Mass. Turnpike early Thursday morning in Weston leading to traffic delays, authorities said.

Troopers responded about 5:25 a.m. to the tractor trailer that had crashed and jackknifed on I-90 eastbound, at the exit at mile marker 123, State Police said in an email.

The vehicle was blocking both lanes of the exit, stopping traffic from getting by on the ramp, police said.

Then another tractor trailer crashed into the disabled tractor trailer about 15 minutes after a heavy duty tow truck was called to remove the crashed vehicle, police said.

Both tractor trailers were towed away just before 7 a.m. and all lanes were reopened, officials said.

State Police said they did not have an injury report.
